Terms and conditions


We accept cheques and Internet Banking transfers or payments made through PayPal (for which you do not need to have a credit or debit card account). We can supply overseas visitors with our bank account BIC and IBAN details. Please note that the bank and PayPal levy a fee on such transfers.

All-inclusive price

The summer price we charge is fully inclusive.


We welcome well-behaved pets in Le Pressoir, by prior arrangement. 

No pets in La Forge cottage: We keep La Forge cottage strictly pet free.

Arrival & Departure

4 pm Arrival Time: Your cottage will be ready for you from 4 pm on the day of arrival.

If you wish to arrive earlier or later, please let us know your likely arrival time.

10 am Departure Time: We ask you please to leave your cottage by 10am on the day of departure.

Looking After our Cottages

Your cottage should be spick and span on arrival.  It is your responsibility to ensure that it is in the same state when you leave.

For those who do not like to spend precious holiday time doing housework, we offer an end-of-stay cleaning service for a set fee of 45 euros.  We can also arrange, during your stay, a cleaning service for 15 euros an hour.

Damages and breakages: Please let us know if you have any breakages or other disaster as soon as they occur so that we can rectify the situation.

a)      Minor breakages: You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages that you cause to the accommodation or its content. However, we do not charge you for  what we consider to be minor breakages.

b)      Major breakages or damage: The security deposit we ask for is to cover any major damage that occurs through your fault.  We expect to refund to you the full amount on departure.  However, if you cause serious damage we will deduct an amount (based on a professional quote for repair or making good the damage or breakage) from your deposit, and refund the difference.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless it is proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Cancellation and Insurance

If for whatever reason you cannot take the holiday you have booked in one of our cottages you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.

However, we would do our very best to re-let the dates and if we do succeed we would not demand payment of the balance due.

If we are unable to re-let the dates, for whatever reason, you are still responsible for the full payment of your rent.

We therefore strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Please note that your deposit is not normally refundable but we would use our discretion in genuine cases of unforeseeable personal situations that have arisen.

Non-Availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation were to be unavailable for exceptional reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday.

Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Privacy Policy

Data Privacy Statement: We treat any data collected during the course of making bookings or dealing with enquiries in strict confidence. This data is kept on our database and we will never sell it on or pass it on to any third party.
